Tips for creating trade show graphics that attract customers

3...2...1 That’s how many seconds you have to get the attention of a potential customer walking past your trade show booth. No matter how great your product or service, the design of your trade show display is going to make your business’s first impression. Custom graphics provide the visual impact necessary to communicate your brand and product message.

Here are 7 tips for creating successful trade show graphics:

1. Your display will be read like a book, left to right, top to bottom. Start with your main point on the top left hand side and follow with supporting information.

2. The most effective displays ask a thought provoking question. This helps to start up a conversation with attendees.

3. End with what you would like the attendee to remember about you.

4. Keep it simple, because less really is more. Use one or two large photos, and no more than two short sentences. The font should be large and easy to read.

5. The company’s logo and contact information should by easy to spot.

6. Attendees should be able to tell what your business does just by looking at the graphics.

7. Work with a graphic designer. They have knowledge and skills to put your ideas together in a cohesive, print ready file. We work with several and would be happy to give you a recommendation.

After your high impact graphics are finalized, the next step is to have them printed. Here at Speedpro Imaging, we specialize in high quality large format printing.
